Associate of Arts Degree

The Associate of Arts Degree is the largest program at Rainy River Community College. The AA degree provides a liberal arts and science education, including the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC), which satisfies general education requirements at every public university in Minnesota.

Most students earning the AA degree transfer to earn a four-year degree in exciting and fulfilling professional fields as:

The Associate of Arts Degree is a 60 credit academic program in the liberal arts and sciences without a named field of study. It is designed for transfer to baccalaureate degree - granting institutions. An Associate of arts degree requires completion of at least a 40 credit general education curriculum that fulfills the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum goal areas.
