RRCC Employment Opportunity - Women's Softball Coach

Rainy River Community College is seeking a head coach for women’s softball. The compensation is seven (7) credits per the Minnesota State College Faculty contract.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Student athlete recruiting
  • Coordinate and facilitate practices and athlete conditioning
  • Coaching
  • Budgeting and fundraising
  • Travel coordination

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree
  • Two years of softball coaching experience, preferably at the two-year college level

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physical Education/Kinesiology or related field

Rainy River Community College is located in International Falls, Minnesota, on the border with Ontario, Canada. RRCC is a member of the Minnesota State system of colleges and universities and one of five colleges in the Northeast Higher Education District.

Under the collective bargaining agreement with the Minnesota State College faculty (MSCF), faculty new to the Minnesota State College Faculty system receive a salary placement based on education and related experience after a job offer is accepted. Estimated placement range for this position, $1100-$1500 per credit.
