Program Description: Hibbing Community College offers an Associate in Science Degree in
nursing. Traditional students and advance standing LPNs are accepted.
Clinical experiences are provided in area community hospitals, clinics,
nursing homes, and other community-based health care agencies. The program prepares students to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
RRCC Cohort: RRCC Cohort
Students will have Interactive Television (ITV) lecture, face-to-face lab at RRCC and HCC (limited), community clinicals in International Falls, and proctored
testing at RRCC. Limited travel to HCC will be required.
Accreditation: Hibbing Community College's nursing program is approved by the Minnesota State Board of Nursing and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc.
