Nursing - Associate Degree (HCC)

Program Description: Hibbing Community College offers an Associate in Science Degree in nursing. Traditional students and advance standing LPNs are accepted. Clinical experiences are provided in area community hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and other community-based health care agencies.

RRCC Cohort

RRCC Cohort Students will have Interactive Television (ITV) lecture, face-to-face lab at RRCC and HCC (limited), community clinicals in International Falls, and proctored testing at RRCC. Limited travel to HCC will be required. Courses required for entry into the ADN program that can be taken at RRCC include:

Employment Opportunities: Those students who successfully complete the nursing and general education graduation requirements of this program are eligible to apply for licensure and apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Graduates are prepared for entry level positions in hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies and clinics. Employment prospects for registered nurses is excellent.
